Surprisingly modern looking high rise apartment (?) building in the distance. Also surprisingly out-of-place looking.

Gorgeous -- and hopefully still single

The lady in the far right corner has captured my heart. I so wish I could go back in time and request her hand in marriage!

The hustle vs the promenade

I appreciate Dave providing a Fashionisti panorama. The smartly dressed woman at right has a no-nonsense, I-got-somewhere-to-be stride. The man at left, walking toward the camera, is moving like a runway model.

At Least the Road Apples are Gone

The courthouse lost some of its foliage and Royal Street lost its streetcar but if you move forward in the following image towards Canal Street (which still has street cars), you can see there are still antique shops on Royal Street and also the Hotel Monteleone on the left.
