The service at Servself is as good as you make it ?

From a postcard on the Detroit Historical Society site:

The Majestic Servself, Detroit's ideally located quick lunch, is the largest, finest and most complete of its kind in America, having a serving capacity of over 1,000 persons an hour. Tempting well-cooked dishes are displayed on large serving counters from which customers select their food. Home cooking, ideal surroundings and the very best of service has made it Detroit's most popular quick lunch. This restaurant appeals particularly to visitors and tourists, street cars from every station and steamboat dock stopping directly in front of the building. The Majestic is only one of the many high-class restaurants operated by Messrs. Brennan, Fitzgerald & Sinks.
