Hopperesque

At first glance I thought this might be a reference photo for a painting. Sure would be a great one.

Agated Community

At this point in my life, I would not mind living in this isolated dirt-farm outpost on the Plains in my own cottage, having my own (stocked) grocery store, and my OWN gas pumps at 5 cents a gallon with auto parts store. A Prepper's dream property. (I am not sure I would partake in Copenhagen, though).

The pump marks the spot

Kudos to CraigF for finding the location. Agate has undergone quite the dramatic transformation over the years, although I doubt that it ever would have been considered a bustling place.

Fill 'er up!

It looks like one of the gas pumps is still there.
