What's in a name
Jacksonville's Forsyth Street was named for Gen. John Forsyth, Minister to Spain during the Monroe administration. He was instrumental in acquiring Florida for the United States.
Think of it, without Forsyth we might be calling Mar-a-Lago ... oh wait.
